Just got back from a New Product Launch by one of the Life Insurers that I represent...Have not had the time to update and share my feelings on last night's trades. Will try to do so after eating my Macaroni lunch prepared by my wife...Yum Yum....

A REVIEW OF LAST NIGHT'S TRADES. Trying to find a bottom is always a challenge. Using the method that I have learnt, there would have been a Super Conservative entry LONG at 02.29am at 1368.50. I was already in La La Land...LOL. There was also an Aggressive LONG at 12.53am at 1367.75. Would have been worth at least 1.75pts, before the next Oscillation challenge. Patience is needed in trading this method. However, at those kinds of hours, that patience sometimes turns into sleepiness...How many of us have found that to be true (those traders from Asia, that is) ?
That's where, on a longer term basis, I need to have another Index Future to look at, preferably one that trades during "working" hours in Asia, namely The Nikkei (SGXNK), or even The Hang Seng (HSI). Other possible choices are the DAX, or the FTSE, which starts trading in the afternoons over here in Asia. I like the ES for the liquidity, but not the trading hours.
Has not been a good start to the week. Down by -5.00pts so far. Let's see what the market has in store tonight...

I want to thank those who have emailed me...great to see the positive responses I've received, and the increase hits on my blog (no, I didn't pay anyone to just visit my blog multiple times...lol). Some of you might understand the " lingo " I use when initiating a trade, as we were trained by the same teacher, whilst others may not. It's okay.
Just remember that the purpose of this blog is to document my struggles and triumphs as a Futures Trader. Each day, a new futures trader is born. Likewise, there would also be another who calls it quits...This blog merely serves as a reminder, or even as an encouragement to all bruised & battered traders, that the journey ahead is never a smooth one, but if we are able to pick ourselves up, after each fall, we are then one step closer to the goal that we set out to meet.

Do continue to email me your comments on the site, and whether the Links posted have benefitted you in one way or another.

09.38pm Waiting to take profit.
09.40pm Took Profit at 1379.75. + 1.50pts
10.05pm For those who play gaps, it looks like PRICE is trying to close the gap.
10.25pm Filling the gap. Missed the SHORT trade...was busy attending to something.
10.57pm WOW! Look at how the market sucks in the buyers! A Blow-off Top? Pity I missed the SHORT earlier. Sometimes, you just have to concentrate and not be distracted by other things.
11.41pm Gonna catch some TV programmes we taped on Monday night with the missus before retiring to bed. G'nite all...
